Des Plaines police responded about 5:09 AM Sunday January 15, 2023 to an aggravated vehicular hijacking at 1450 East Touhy Avenue Des Plaines, IL. Police received a report that a black Mercedes was taken from the property of the Wyndham Chicago O’Hare hotel.
UPDATE: STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED, SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY … Stolen vehicle and suspects in custody in the block of 8500 south Sangamon Street in Chicago by about 9:20 a.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023.
The offenders were described as four male black offenders wearing black ski masks and dark clothing. Two black handguns were displayed.
The chase vehicle was initially described as a black pickup truck — unknown make and model.
Both vehicles were last seen at Mannheim Road and Higgins Road.
