A male driver with a suspended driver’s license from two previous DUI cases was arrested for a third alleged DUI after a crash at Buffalo Grove Road and McHenry Road (Route 83) in Buffalo Grove.

Police, firefighters and paramedics from Buffalo Grove responded about 8:53 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022 to a report of a crash involving a possible intoxicated driver at Buffalo Grove and McHenry Road (Route 83) in Buffalo Grove.

The first crew on arrival reported three vehicles involved in a crash with moderate damage. Police arrived soon after Kevin P. Fallon, age 68, of Ingleside, Illinois, who was driving southbound on McHenry Road, made a left turn in front of a motorist traveling northbound on McHenry Road. When police arrived, Kevin Fallon was walking near his black Ford F-150 pickup truck, and allegedly was having difficulty standing. Fallon had blood on his nose, and police officers smelled alcohol when they were near him.

Two witnesses stopped at the crash scene, and told police that the driver in the pickup truck was swerving and hit a curb just before the crash.

Buffalo Grove police officers conducted a field sobriety test, which indicated that Fallon was impaired. Fallon was then arrested for alleged DUI. While gathering information on Fallon, police officers learned he had a history of two active DUI cases from an alleged DUI incident on January 24, 2022 in Grayslake, and an alleged DUI incident on March 27, 2022 in which he was arrested by Lake County Sheriff’s deputies at Route 60 and Academy Road in Lake Forest.
