Crystal Lake’s Police dispatch center beginning about 7:34 p.m. November 12, 2022 received multiple calls for what was being reported as gun shots in the 800 block of Coventry Lane. Upon arrival, police confirmed that one residence in the 800 block of Coventry Lane was struck multiple times by gunfire. No one was injured, and it appears that the gunshots were intentionally directed towards one particular residence.
The Crystal Lake Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, and is investigating all leads as they develop.
The Crystal Lake Police Department urges anyone who may have information related to the shots fired incident on Coventry Lane to contact the Crystal Lake Police Department at 815-356-3620. In addition, anyone with a cell phone can send an anonymous tip to the Crystal Lake Police Department by texting the word CLPDTIP along with the tip information to 847411 (tip411).
