Schaumburg police responded about 1:40 AM Wednesday June 22, 2022 to a report of a catalytic converter theft at 21 Kristin Drive Schaumburg, IL. Police received a report that unknown offenders took the catalytic converter from a vehicle parked at or near the apartment complex.
The offenders’ vehicle was described as a black Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with tinted tail lights.
The suspects inside the vehicle were described only as three male/black occupants.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 1:40 a.m.
A vehicle associated with an attempted catalytic converter theft at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022 on east Oakton Street near Rand Road in Arlington Heights was described as a black Jeep SUV.
