Police, firefighters, and paramedics responded about 4:34 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 to a report of shots fired, and then two people shot, in the block of 1400 Hervey Avenue in North Chicago.
Police discovered a victim with a gunshot wound to the leg and then a second victim with a gunshot wound in a body region that was not initially disclosed. Both victims were transported to nearby hospitals.
North Chicago police investigators were on the scene investigating the shooting Wednesday evening.
