Police and firefighters from Chicago responded about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022 to report of a shooting in the parking lot of the Target store, 6525 West Diversey Avenue in Chicago.
The woman was found shot with multiple gunshot wounds and transported by Chicago Fire Department paramedics to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. The 47 year-old woman was pronounced dead at the Loyola.
Initial investigation indicates the woman was outside the store when an unknown offender approached her and shot her multiple times.
