Lake County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters and paramedics from Long Grove Fire Protection District and Palatine responded about 10:51 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 to a report of a crash involving a rollover semi-trailer truck

The first fire crew from Long Grove on arrival reported a Palatine Fire Department ambulance on the scene with a semi-trailer truck on its side, and the driver out of the truck.




The truck was a flat bed semi-trailer truck carrying large steel coils. Initially there were no serious injuries reported. Ernie’s Towing recovered the coils and cleared the wreckage and debris.
