Police from Antioch responded just before midnight on Friday, April 15, 2022 to a report of an attempted burglary in progress in the block of 1000 Dana Court in Antioch. The residents reported loud noises at their front door and upon checking, the front door was discovered to be forced open. An area K9 unit responded and police officers checked the residence and surrounding area for the suspect or suspects without success.
The Antioch Police Department reported that police officers were on patrol in the area overnight and will continue to canvass the neighborhood throughout the morning.
Antioch police asked that resident who live in the Neuhaven Subdivision, please check any exterior security cameras for suspicious activity, and call dispatch at 847-270-9111. The investigation is continuing and police officers will be conducting increased patrols.
