Small Fire in a Boiler on Salem Ave Near Elm St in Arlington Heights

Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 9:09 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2021 to a report of a boiler fire in a house in the block of 800 North Salem Avenue in Arlington Heights.

Firefighters on arrival reported no smoke showing on arrival. The fire was declared out on arrival with no active fire with a little smoke in the house.

Firefighters secured the affected equipment with a maintenance man on scene, overhauled the scene, and used fans to clear smoke from the house.
