Alligator in Massachusetts River, Delivery Driver Accused of Stealing Service Dog in Helena, AL; K-9 Sniff Finds $100K in Dallas

An alligator that had been reported in earlier sightings in the Westfield River was captured and transferred to the Massachusetts Environmental Police.

Helena police are investigating a case involving a FedEx driver who is accused of stealing a dog, but says the dog was removed because it was at risk of being hit by a car.

K-9 ‘Ballentine’ signaled an alert on a checked suitcase belonging to a woman from Chicago, and over $100,000 was discovered in the suitcase.

The Humane Society’s Animal Cruelty Task Force rescued 42 dogs and puppies from a puppy mill “the Cedarcrest Kennel” in Douglas County, Missouri.
