Wheeling police responded about 5:15 AM Saturday November 27, 2021 to a hit-and-run crash, property damage only, near Wolf Road and Legacy Lane. Police received a report that the unknown driver of a vehicle crashed into a house and left the scene.
UPDATE: The vehicle and offender were in custody by about 6:37 a.m.
The offending vehicle was described as a blue 2010 Ford Taurus. Initially there was no description of the driver.
The vehicle and offender were last seen northbound on Wolf Road toward Lake Cook Road.
