Stolen Plumbing Van in Palatine Recovered by Illinois State Police within an Hour

Palatine police received a report about 12:10 PM Tuesday October 12, 2021 of a stolen plumbing company van in the block of 200 South Greenwood Avenue Palatine, Illinois. Police received a report that unknown offenders stole a white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van.

The vehicle is described with markings identifying it as a MAS Plumbing van.




The suspects were described as two male/Hispanic subjects wearing gang colors. Suspect #1 was wearing a red bandana with a red jacket, and Suspect #2 was wearing red clothing and glasses.

The vehicle was recovered abandoned without suspects by an Illinois State Police Trooper by 12:57 p.m. in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood.

The crime is reported to have occurred at 12:10 p.m.
