Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Palatine responded about 10:08 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 to a report of a fire in the kitchen at Burger King, 75 West Northwest Highway in Palatine.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke showing and evacuation at Burger King. An interior crew discovered a fully-involved kitchen fire and activated the kitchen extinguisher system.
The fire was extinguished by about 10:14 a.m.
There were no reported injuries.
The restaurant is closed until further notice.
