Severe thunderstorms will be arriving a little earlier than forecast for Tuesday evening. Compared to yesterday, tornadoes are less likely, but a brief tornado without a long track is possible.
Weather Radar) shows a line of thunderstorms from Green Bay, Wisconsin south to southern Kendall County by 7:15 p.m. The line filled the entire width of McHenry County at 7:15 p.m.
Arlington Heights and nearby communities experienced a few thundershowers from a lone cell about 6:30 p.m., but the leading edge of the severe storms line was entering northwest Cook County at 7:15 p.m. Radar indicates these storms will be in Arlington Heighstby 7:45 p.m.
