House Fire on Cardiffe Circle Near Redwood Ln Carpentersville

Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Carpentersville responded about 9:20 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2021 to a report of a house fire in the block of 2000 Cardiffe Circle in Carpentersville.

Firefighters received a report of a vehicle fire inside a garage. Police reported the fire was spreading to the house from the attached garage just as the first engine crew arrived on the scene.

The first engine crew reported flames showing with a vehicle fire inside the garage. Algonquin firefighters were also assigned to the scene.

The fire was declared knocked by 9:27 p.m.

Initially no injuries were reported.
