Police, firefighters and paramedics from Waukegan responded about 10:06 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021 to a report of flames showing from the roof at an apartment fire in the block of 2100 Williamsburg Drive in Waukegan.
Waukegan Fire Engine 4’s crew on arrival reported fire showing from the second floor of a 3-story brick apartment building.
Firefighters from Great Lakes, Lake Villa, Libertyville, Newport, and North Chicago responded to stand by in Waukegan fire stations for a Change of Quarters MABAS Box Alarm that was activated. MABAS Division 4 Box Alarm #16-2 was activated at 10:20 p.m.
