Apartment Condo Fire on Buccaneer Dr Near Old Plum Grove Rd, Schaumburg

Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Schaumburg responded about 12:31 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021 to a report of an Activated Fire Alarm at an apartment condominium building at 905 Buccaneer Drive in Schaumburg.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke in the attic, and upgraded the call to a fire response.

Firefighters led out with one hose line and were working to extinguish the fire by 12:41 p.m. A truck crew was assigned to the roof of the 3-story brick building to check for extension.

Truck 52’s crew reported they had the fire knocked by 12:56 p.m.
