Serious Fireworks Injury on Lyndon St, Near Recreational Center, Rosemont

Police, firefighters and paramedics from Rosemont responded about 9:21 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2021 to a report of a serious fireworks injury in the block of 7100 Lyndon Street in Rosemont.

A male victim was rushed to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge while treated with Advanced Life Support. Injuries are initially believed to be non-life-threatening.

The fireworks blast may have occurred near the Barry Recreational Center near an apartment complex just northwest of the Allstate Arena.
