Illinois State Police and firefighters and paramedics from Elk Grove Village and Schaumburg responded about 2:19 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021 to a report of a rollover crash on northbound Route 53 south of Higgins Road near Busse Woods and Elk Grove Village.
The first Elk Grove crew on arrival reported a rollover vehicle just north of the off ramp to Higgins Road but south of Higgins Road, and another vehicle crashed into the median J-wall.
Firefighter/paramedics assessed four crash victims — all were described as mobile with no entrapment.
