Police, firefighters, and paramedics responded about 8:05 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 to a report of a home invasion or burglary in progress on Beechwood Road just east of Forestway in Buffalo Grove.
One or two suspects are inside the house and the house is surrounded by police. NIPAS tactical armored police arrived by 9:05 p.m.
No word from police yet, but it appears one suspect was taken into custody about 11:45 p.m. — walked in handcuffs to a Buffalo Grove Fire Department ambulance that was parked near Beechwood and Weidner Road.
