Crash with Extrication at Busse Rd and Howard St Elk Grove Village Injures 2

Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Elk Grove Village responded about 8:56 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 to a report of a crash with injuries with one person that can’t get out of a vehicle at Busse Road and Howard Street in Elk Grove Village.

The first crew on arrival reported the crash involving a van and a sedan was in the southbound lanes of Busse Road. Firefighter/paramedics worked with extrication tools to free a person from a crashed vehicle. The person was extricated by 9:27 a.m.

Two patient were transported to Alexian Brothers Medical Center, and one patient refused medical transportation.
