The UK has recorded the highest number of COVID-19 related deaths during the second wave of the pandemic and the highest daily case rise (Sky News).
“The biggest, most important stimulus… is this vaccine,” Kevin Warsh, former Fed governor and distinguished visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution, told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” Wednesday. “Nothing can get this economy back faster and more efficiently than a vaccine that’s out there that makes the virus non-existent or at least something we can live with.”

The CDC says pregnant women are at a significantly higher risk for severe COVID-19 illness and death compared to non-pregnant women of the same age.
