Police and firefighter/paramedics from Buffalo Grove responded about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2020 to a report of a serious crash Involving a single vehicle hitting a tree on westbound Lake Cook Road west of Weidner Road.

Arlington Heights Woman Dies in Crash on Lake Cook Rd West of Weidner Rd Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police were first on the scene and found the driver unresponsive and not breathing inside the car. Paramedics arrived and found the driver in full cardiac arrest. Their patient was transported to Northwest Community Hospital, where their condition was initially unknown.




The driver of the sub compact car was apparently westbound on Lake Cook Road and left the roadway for an unknown reason, hitting a medium-size tree in the median boulevard.

The Major Case Assistance Team – Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (MCAT-STAR) team was assigned to assist Buffalo Grove Police Department with the crash.
