Federal prosecutors in Delaware, working with the IRS Criminal Investigation agency and the FBI, have begun issuing subpoenas and seeking interviews, according to an unnamed source providing information to CNN.
The Department of Justice rarely confirms the existence of an ongoing investigation, but also confirmed that the FBI is conducting a federal money-laundering probe into the Biden family in a communication with Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Jim Rosen. Sinclair Broadcast Group is the telecommunications conglomerate that failed in 2018 in an attempt to buy WGN-TV and Tribune Media, and is the second-largest media conglomerate after Nexstar, which successfully merged with Tribune Media and WGN-TV in 2019. Jim Rosen formerly worked for Fox News as a White House correspondent until he was ousted after allegations of sexual misconduct with Fox News female staff.
According to CNN, Biden’s campaign released a statement acknowledging the federal probe this week.
Also this week, former Hunter Biden business associate-turned-whistleblower Tony Bobulinski said Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was “compromised” by the Chinese Communist Party in an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News. On October 23, 2020, Bobulinski held a press conference informing reporters that he was submitting to the FBI, three cellular phones that he claimed only he possessed, and that he claimed contain evidence from 2015 to 2018 that shows business dealings between China, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden and Jim Biden.
The New York Post first began publishing a series of exposés based on the content found on Hunter Biden’s MacBook Pro hard drive that included emails showing Hunter Biden was offered a $3 million-a-year contract with 10 percent set aside for “The Big Guy,” believed to be Joe Biden. Hunter Biden’s MacBook Pro, which remained unclaimed at a Delaware Mac repair shop around April 2019, also contained X-rated sex videos with Hunter Biden appearing. Videos were also allegedly leaked to one or more pornographic video-sharing websites showing sexual acts featuring Hunter Biden. Allegedly more sinister and perverted videos also existed on the laptop.
The New York Post exposés focused on the overseas business dealings with Ukrainian energy firm Burisma in a time frame when then Vice President Joe Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.
Facebook and Twitter censored the New York Post as a result of the exposés.
