Detached Garage Fire Extinguished Fast on Lilac Drive Near Rose Ave in Unincorporated Mundelein

Police and firefighter/paramedics from Countryside and Mundelein responded about 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 to a report of a detached garage fire in the block of 26200 North Lilac Drive in unincorporated Mundelein, just south of Diamond Lake.

Firefighters had water on the fire by 10:30 a.m. and the fire was declared out by 10:38 a.m.




Firefighters from Buffalo Grove, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods, Long Grove and Palatine were also assigned to the call, but most or all crews were returned before they arrived on the scene.
