The Associated Press, CNN, and Fox News all have projected that Joe Biden will become the 46th president of the United States, following a victory declared Saturday November 7, 2020 in Pennsylvania — the state where he was born. put him over the 270 electoral votes needed to win. Multiple news sources projected Joe Biden as the elected president about 10:20 a.m. CT Saturday morning, November 7, 2020.

The Associated Press has Joe Biden with 284 electoral votes, and Donald Trump 214.

CNN has Joe Biden with 273 and Trump 213.

Fox News has Joe Biden with 290 and Trump with 214.

Before becoming the Democratic presidential nominee, Biden served as vice president under former President Barack Obama. The former Vice President of the United States is also Delaware’s longest-serving senator.
