Visitors say the Las Vegas Strip has a different feeling as violent altercations continue. One woman shares her personal story of an attack.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department made 62 arrests, and a total of 10 guns were recovered over two days of the Labor Day Weekend.

TV news 8 News NOW Las Vegas the reported uptick in violent crime on the Las Vegas strip has continued since around Labor Day, but 3 News Las Vegas reported an increase in violence since mid-August — about two months after resorts reopened following the COVID-19 shutdown.

According to 3 News Las Vegas (KSVN)

A bystander was shot in the knee at the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, as two groups of people argued over who’s turn it was to take a picture at the sign.

An attempted robbery occurred in the Venetian casinao-hotel parking garage.

A stabbing at the Venetian Hotel that left a man in critical condition at a local hospital

Just days after Gov. Steve Sisolak warned about a possible surge in COVID-19 cases if precautions weren’t taken, the patrons who visited the Las Vegas Strip and downtown over the Labor Day weekend proved to be a mixed bag of when it came to following the safety measures.
