Mail Carrier Shot on South Ellis Ave Near 92nd Street, Chicago

Police and firefighter/paramedics from Chicago responded about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020 to a report that a mail carrier was shot in the block of 9100 South Ellis Avenue in Chicago’s Burnside neighborhood.

The female mail carrier was injured with possibly four gunshot wounds, and was treated and transported by Chicago Fire Department paramedics to a nearby hospital. She was listed in critical condition.
