Three businesses of four businesses were hit by burglars in 30 minutes Chicago’s Northwest Side (Marissa Parra/CBS Chicago).
Chicago Police Department alerted area businesses of commercial burglaries in the 016th District in the Jefferson Park neighborhood overnight/early morning of Thursday, September 10, 2020.
Police said that unknown offenders shattered the window or the front glass door of each business, and proceeded to enter and take merchandise from the businesses. At least one of the offenders was armed with a large pick axe.
The offenders were described as male/black, wearing dark clothing, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white gym shoes with red laces. The offenders fled in a light blue or gray Chrysler Town and Country mini-van with a temporary license plate.
