The Aurora Police Department is conducting a death investigation after an adult man was found dead at Phillips Park on Monday evening, September 14, 2020.
Aurora Police and the Aurora Fire Department responded about 7:30 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2020 to Phillips Park in the block of 1000 Ray Moses Drive for multiple reports of an unresponsive male in the park. Paramedics performed CPR and Advanced Life Support treatment, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives and Evidence Technicians responded to the scene to begin an investigation. Preliminary, detectives found no obvious signs of trauma. The body was turned over to the Kane County Coroner’s Office where an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
