Arcing Power Lines with Road Blocked on Route 53 West of Old McHenry Rd, Long Grove — 452 ComEd Customers without Power


Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies and firefighter/paramedics from Long Grove responded about 5:22 p.m. at Old Hicks Road and Bayberry Lane and about 5:25 p.m. Wednesday September 9, 2020 to a report of power lines arcing on a tree. Route 53 was closed west of Route 83.

Long Grove fire crews also reported a power problem at Old Hicks Road and Bayberry.

ComEd was called to the scene for both incidents.
