Arlington Heights police responded about 6:28 PM Monday August 3, 2020 to an armed robbery at the Shell gas station, 301 East Central Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that unknown offender unlawfully, and under threat of force, took money from the cash register at the gas station.
The offender is described as a male/white, approximately 20-25 years old, thin build, and wearing a blue surgical face mask, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head, clear plastic gloves, black pants and carrying a handgun. The male offender was last seen running eastbound from the scene. Approximately $400 cash was taken from the register.
Apparently no ISPERN (Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network) message was broadcast for this incident
The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 6:27 PM.
