A YouTube channel crew ‘Fleccas Talks’ met Sen. Jerry Nadler at the northeast corner of Independence Avenue SE and S Capitol Street SE/New Jersey Avenue SE and were surprised by Sen. Nadler’s answer to a question about violence and Antifa in the United States and Portland.

A short question and answer interaction occurred recently between Austen ‘Fleccas’ Fletcher and US Rep. Jerry Nadler at the northeast corner of Independence Avenue SE and S Capitol Street SE/New Jersey Avenue SE, just south of the United States Capitol grounds near the Rayburn Office building (home of the United States House of Representatives), the Longworth House Office Building (also used by the United States House of Representatives and US Ways & Means Committee), and the Cannon House Office Building (undergoing renovation).

 INTERACTION …

Austen ‘Fleccas’ Fletcher: “There’s violence across the whole country. Do you disavow the violence from Antifa? … that’s happening in Portland right now … there’s riots…”

US Rep. Jerry Nadler: “That’s a myth that’s being spread only in Washington D. C.”

Fletcher: “Antifa in Portland?”

Nadler: “Yes.”

Fletcher: “Sir, there’s video everywhere online … there’s fires and riots, they’re throwing fireworks at federal officers. DHS is there. Look online. That’s crazy Mr. Nadler.”

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee reacted Monday morning July 27,2020, saying, “Jerry Nadler sees things that aren’t there, like “Russian collusion” but not a violent riot in front of his face. A journalist asked Nadler if he’d disavow the violence & riots in Portland. Nadler: “that’s a myth spreading only in Washington, DC.”

Democrat Jerry Nadler is in his 15th term in Congress, serving the people of the 10th Congressional District of New York, which currently includes the west side of Manhattan from the Upper West Side down to Battery Park, the World Trade Center; the Manhattan neighborhoods of Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen and Greenwich Village; Brooklyn areas, such as Coney Island, Bensonhurst, Borough Park and Bay Ridge; and tourist attractions including the Statue of Liberty, New York Stock Exchange, Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park.
