A terrified Uber driver was caught in the middle of hundreds of teens moving through downtown Chicago during the July 4th weekend 2020 (CBS 2’s Jermont Terry reports).

The group of 300 to 400 teens in downtown Chicago was described as a ‘School of Piranhas’ and nobody knows where they are going to turn up. The Uber driver was transporting two passengers during the 4th of July weekend when his vehicle was attacked near Washington Street and Wabash Avenue near Millennium Park. The Uber driver drove the wrong way down Washington Street to get away from the group of teens. Teens jumped on the hood and roof of his Kia sedan. Next, they broke through the driver’s window, and then a pitchfork crashed through the rear window of his Kia. Fortunately, the passengers in the rear seat were not injured. The damage to his Kia was more than $8,000.

Chicago police say they are monitoring the groups of teens moving through downtown.
