Three People Shot on Trask Street Near New York Street, Aurora

Police and firefighter/paramedics from Aurora responded overnight Sunday July 5, 2020 to a report that three people were shot in the block of 100 Trask Street east of downtown Aurora.

The three gunshot victims were transported to area hospitals, and are being treated for their injuries, police said.

Aurora police did not initially release the dispatch time of the incident. The time is unknown because Aurora police and fire radios cannot be monitored by public safety scanner radios.

Aurora police did not initially disclose whether the shooting was at a commercial location or a residential location.

Citizens with information about the shooting are urged to call investigators at 630-256-5500.
