Roselle police responded to reports of shots fired about 1:30 a.m. Saturday June 27, 2020 in the block of 0-99 West Forest Avenue near the intersection of Picton Road and Roselle Road in a neighborhood of large luxury homes.
Upon arrival police discovered multiple gunshot victims, with one person dead at the scene, according to Roselle Police Department.
One person was shot and killed and multiple people were shot and wounded. A female victim was found shot in the chest near Picton Road. CPR and Advanced Life Support was administered to at least one of the victims at the scene. One shooting victim was also found at Bloomingdale Road and Lake Street in Bloomingdale, where Roselle Road becomes Bloomingdale Road — heading south.
Firefighter/paramedics from Bloomingdale, Hanover Park and Schaumburg assisted Roselle firefighter/paramedics.
Roselle police detectives requested the assistance of investigators and forensic examiners from the DuPage Metropolitan Emergency Response and Investigations Team.
