When police responded, but were unable to access the patient. Body camera video released by the Seattle Police Department later on Saturday shows a crowd of people gathering around the officers.

“CHOP medics” brought in a van and a former nurse helped the “CHOP medics” get the man inside so they could transport him to the hospital.

Police later learned that a 19-year-old man was killed in an overnight shooting inside the CHOP Zone, and a second person was at the hospital in critical condition.

A security camera audio channel captured eight shots. There are no suspects to the homicide.

“No one within the CHOP denied entry to PD within any organizational capacity. Officers deciding on their own not to enter an area is not the same as being denied entry,” read the statement. “We as safety teams are peacekeepers, not police. We do not want to be homicide detectives, or CSI, or accessories to this murder. We still want what we wanted from day one, justice for all.”
