Free yogurt pick up at Berry Yo: Appreciation for District 25 teachers on Friday, April 24, 2020.

Berry Yo and Arlington Heights School District 25 showed appreciation for teachers on Friday, April 24, 2020 with free Frozen Yogurt pickup on Vail Avenue in front of Berry Yo, 50 South Vail Avenue in downtown Arlington Heights. School Superintendent Lori D. Bein, Ed.D., and owner Sheila Henneman and staff from Berry Yo served frozen yogurt at the curb as teachers drove up for pickup.

Shiela Henneman said that Superintendent Lori Bein from District 25 called her and said she wanted to give back a sweet treat to her teachers. Berry Yo delivered, and downtown Arlington Heights showed a little life during quiet times — the day after Gov. JB Pritzker announced that the Stay at Home order will be extended to May 30, 2020.
