President Donald J. Trump declared a National Emergency on Friday, March 13, 2020 about 2:40 p.m. with leaders in pharmaceuticals, health care retailers, and lab testing at his side. The National Emergency declaration makes $50 billion available.

Trump will revise policies for maximum fight against virus, and is partnering with the private sector for more virus testing

FDA quickly approved Roche Coronavirus Test.

The president waived interest on all student loans.


A “Screening Website” developed by Google will facilitate coronavirus testing by determining need for test and test location availability. Test results will be available in 24-36 hours. Trump said Google has 1,700 engineers working on the coronavirus website right now and has made tremendous progress.
