Oak Brook police responded about 7:44 PM Monday February 3, 2020 to a report of a retail theft at Nieman Marcus, 6 Oak Brook Center Oak Brook, IL. Police received a report that five offenders were simultaneously involved in retail theft at the Nieman Marcus store.
The offenders were described as five male/black subjects wearing masks. The offenders fled in a silver Hyundai Santa Fe.
Initially there was no information available regarding what was taken.
Nieman Marcus closes at 8:00 p.m. on Mondays.
In many communities, police consider multiple offender crimes as a “robbery” because of the implied force possible from multiple offenders.
