Theft of Catalytic Converter at Apartment Parking Lot on Kennicott Dr Just South of Rand Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:01 AM Thursday January 9, 2020 of a theft of a vehicle part at 2402 North Kennicott Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully removed the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle while it was parked legally in a private lot at the apartment complex parking lot. The converter is valued at approximately $500.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 11:59 PM and Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 12:00 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 00:01 (hours: minutes).
