The Arlington Heights Police Department had two successful events at Target, 1700 East Rand Road on Saturday December 14, 2019. Activities for Arlington Heights Police Department’s Annual ‘Shop with a Cop’ and ‘Toys for Tots’ were both occurring Saturday.

The Annual ‘Shop with a Cop’ activity helped 10 families in the community shop at Target early Saturday morning before the store opened. Several police officers and Arlington Heights Police Chief Nick Pecora were on hand to help families navigate the aisles at Target and make their selections and made their purchases.

Toys for Tots activities were held at the south end of the Target parking lot, where the community members were encouraged to drop off toys for the annual “Drive Through” toy event. The drive through event at Target marked the final day of the annual Toys for Tots campaign.
