Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:09 PM Sunday December 1, 2019 to a report of crash with injuries at Arlington Heights Road and Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that three vehicles were involved in a crash in the intersection.
A child was evaluated by paramedics and a second ambulance was requested by 1213 p.m. The second ambulance left the scene with no transport, but returned to the scene at 12:29 p.m. when another crash victim requested transportation.
At least two people were transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
A witness reported that the driver of a Toyota Camry was southbound on Arlington Heights Road when the driver of a Nissan SUV that was northbound made a left turn in front of the Toyota Camry. The front of the Camry crashed into the right side of the Nissan SUV, and then the Nissan hit a compact car in the eastbound left turn land of Euclid Avenue.
The Toyota Camry had moderate front-end damage. The Nissan SUV had moderate damage on both sides, and the compact car had moderate front-end damage.
Northbound Arlington Heights Road was blocked at Hawthorne Street during crash rescue operations.
Westbound Euclid Avenue was blocked at Arlington Heights Road during crash rescue operations.
Left turns were blocked from northbound Arlington Heights during crash rescue operations.
Left turns were blocked from eastbound Euclid Avenue during crash rescue operations.
Eastbound Euclid Avenue was intermittently blocked during crash rescue operations.
