Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:26 AM Wednesday October 9, 2019 of a commercial burglary at in the block of 2000 Lake Street Melrose Park, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a business in the block of 2000 or 2200 West Lake Street in Melrose Park. An offender or offenders removed an ATM machine from the business.
Police are investigating the case following sighting of a black Hyundai Sonata and a male/black occupant.
The black Hyundai Sonata was last seen eastbound on I-290 from 9th Ave with speeds over 109 MPH.
The crime is reported to have occurred about 3:26 a.m.
