#ad▼

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:20 PM Saturday, September 7, 2019 to a report of a house fire in the block of 3000 Huntington Drive. Firefighters received a report that residents came home and found a fire in a bathroom, possibly involving a fan.

Firefighters on arrival reported a working house fire by 8:27 PM and upgraded the call to a Code 4 “working fire.”

Firefighters led out with two hose lines and had a ladder to the second floor on the west side of the house.

A neighbor who said he lives behind the house said there was some charring out the rear on the second floor.

Initially there did not appear to be any injuries. This is an early report before any official release of information from the fire department or the police department.

Firefighters from Buffalo Grove and Palatine assisted Arlington Heights firefighters.
