Police and firefighter/paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 6:49 p.m. Monday September 23, 2019 to the Arlington Heights Memorial Library to a report that a man was found collapsed in the bathroom on the main floor of the library.

“You all helped save my dad’s life that night and I consider you heroes. I am completely grateful and thankful more than you know. Thank you once again.”

Police were first on the scene and advised that the man was down from an apparent fall, but awake and breathing. Firefighter/paramedics treated the man and transported him to Northwest Community Hospital.
