Bicycle Theft at Downtown Metra Station on Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:05 PM Saturday September 7, 2019 of a bicycle theft at downtown Metra train station, 45 West Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully took the victim’s bicycle from the bicycle rack at the train station. The bicycle had been secured to the bike rack with a bike lock at the time of the theft. The defeated bike lock was also taken from the scene.

A description of the suspect was available via surveillance video capturing the offender taking the bicycle from the bike rack.

The suspect is described as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shoes, black pants and a tan cowboy hat.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 12:04 PM.
