TUE JUN 18 2019 ~8:20 AM HIT-AND-RUN CRASH ON I-294 NEAR LAKE COOK RD, NORTHBROOK Northbrook Fire Department Hit-and-Run Crash/Vehicle Fire 42.134330, -87.886918 (I-294 and Lake Cook Rd Northbrook, IL) Report of a hit-and-run crash on I-294 at Lake Cook Road. There was also a report of a vehicle on fire at 1625 Lake Cook Road, but police on scene reported the vehicle was no longer on fire. The vehicle belonging to the driver that left the scene may have had a small fire involving the vehicle.

The crash may actually have occurred on northbound I-294 just south of Dundee Road. The crash was also reported on Waze. [INCIDENT MAP]
