Buffalo Grove police responded about 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019 to a report of an armed robbery near Fox Court East and Cobblestone Lane.
Police received a report that a victim was sitting in a parked vehicle outside their home when a masked offender approached with a handgun and demanded “items” from the victim. The armed robber ran south through the neighborhood, toward the area of Fox Hill Drive and Cobblestone Lane.
Buffalo Grove police searched the area, but did not find the suspect. Buffalo Grove police said they believe the victim, who was not injured, was targeted by the offender and that “there is no active threat to the community.”
The suspect was described as a male/black, approximately 25 to 30 years-old, 5’7″ to 5’8″ with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a face mask, police said.
