Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:43 p.m. Thursday May 23, 2019 to a report of a rollover crash in the Mount Prospect Plaza parking lot at 940 East Rand Road.
Mount Prospect Fire Department extricated a female victim, age 68, from the vehicle, After extrication, she was transported to Northwest Community Hospital with injuries that initially appeared to be non-life-threatening.
A quick investigation at the scene showed that the female driver struck a parking block, which caused her vehicle to roll onto the driver’s side and hit a parked car.
No information was initially available on any citations or charges.
